1. Who is responsible

2. What we collect, why, and for how long

Where Korean law requires a longer retention period — for example, records of e-commerce transactions, complaints, and payments — that period applies.
3. Who we share it with
Universities in Korea. Submitting an application means transferring your application documents to the university you apply to. This is the purpose of the service and you consent to it at purchase. The university handles your information under its own policy.
Service providers. Payment processing (payment provider; card data never reaches GEA), e-mail and messaging, cloud storage and document handling, courier services for originals, and Korean language instructors engaged for interview training. Each is bound to use your information only to provide the service to GEA.
Authorities. Where required by Korean law or a lawful request.
We do not sell personal information and do not share it with advertisers.
4. International transfer
You are outside Korea and GEA is in Korea. Your information is transferred to Korea when you send it to us, and stored there. Some service providers listed in section 3 may store data outside Korea; where they do, GEA uses providers that apply safeguards equivalent to Korean requirements. Transfer to your university is within Korea.
5. Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, or withdraw consent. E-mail the privacy officer. We respond within 10 business days. Deleting information needed to complete a service you have purchased may prevent us from completing it; we will tell you if so. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place.
If you are in a jurisdiction that grants additional rights, those rights apply in addition.
6. Security
Documents are stored in access-controlled systems limited to staff who need them for your case. Originals are stored in a locked location from receipt until delivery. Card data is never received by GEA. We will notify you and, where required, the relevant authority without undue delay if we become aware of a breach affecting your information.
7. Cookies
This site uses only the cookies and local settings needed to remember your language preference and keep the site working. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used.
8. Minors
If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must consent to this policy on your behalf before we provide services.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes are notified by e-mail to active clients and by notice on this site.
